Highly recommend staying in this great place

Susie D, Essex, stayed: October 2018

Wow - we all loved it here! The warm welcome and friendliness of the staff creates a great first impression. Our garden suite rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms enormous with 'his and hers' sinks. The main hotel offers a couple of bars, a pleasant outdoor seating area and 2 dining rooms along with the Spa. The Spa is very attractive and offers a wide range of 'wet' places and lots of treatments. Breakfast was generous and offered a wide range of options. For our family party of 4, the evening dining experience was fantastic and the 10 course tasting menu really was amazing. The hotel ambience is calm and relaxing. The staff are extremely professional and helpful. All in all was a great value week-end and would have no hesitation in returning here. Highly recommended!!

Sep 2018 2 night Stay

MT, stayed: September 2018

We enjoyed a two-night break in a luxury King room, we stayed on a Sunday & Monday so the hotel and spa were very quiet. Ate in AG on the Sunday, very pleasant but a very expensive experience. We both had full body massage and my wife also had her nails done. For the two nights we spent over 1100 including treatments. Although it was a very nice break, I'm sure there are better value hotels out there. Don't expect any free upgrades, when you book you will be sent a list of upgrade costs.

Wonderful hotel but restaurant not up to standard

Anon, stayed: November 2017

We were warmly greeted as we arrived and Charles was so welcoming.
The rooms are stunning and our afternoon in the spa very relaxing. We ate in the Reflections Restaurant and were very disappointed. The restaurant manager did eventual resolve the issue but this did ruin our evening. Such a shame for a otherwise lovely hotel

Anniversary celebration

MP, Surrey, stayed: July 2017

Stayed recently to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming, room was upgraded for us and we ended up in a garden suite which was fantastic. We made use of the spa which was lovely and relaxing (although quite busy - it was a Friday late afternoon). Didn't have treatments as they were fully booked, make sure you book beforehand if you want one. Dinner in Reflections restaurant was lovely, as was breakfast in the morning. A gorgeous hotel, would thoroughly recommend.
