Excellent short break

Richard, Hampshire, stayed: August 2021

We enjoyed our stay at Ashdown Park. The location, grounds and ambience was excellent. The gourmet restaurant food was exceptional and of high quality taste and delicious. Our room was superb with a very comfortable bed and pillows, and furniture. The location was good with easy access to what we wanted to visit - Bluebell railway and surrounding towns. The staff were very helpful and friendly and also the pool and spa was excellent.

Relaxing weekend break with superb dinner

JC, Surrey, stayed: August 2020

Great location and facilities for exploring the area s local attractions. We enjoyed the historic ambience and the unique layout of the hotel. The restaurant served the best lamb dish I think I have ever had, and the English breakfast was of a very high quality. The grounds are lovely and the indoor swimming pool was very nice.

overpriced

RR, Kent, stayed: August 2020

Overpriced. Had to ask for the champagne and chocolates we had ordered for arrival, TWICE and they then tried to charge us again for them on the way out. Booked for the restaurant for 2 nights but was put in the Brasserie as it was overbooked and was so hot in there we couldn't finish our meal. Will never go back or recommend. An expensive mistake. Serving staff were excellent though.
