Disabled Access
The public lounge, bar and restaurant are all located on the ground floor and have disabled access. There is one bedroom on the ground floor of the hotel which is equipped for disabled use.
The hotel does not have a lift.
Please contact us if an accessible room is required.
Child Policy
Some rooms are large enough to accommodate extra beds/cots for children under the age of 12. An additional charge of £20.00 per child, per night B&B will apply when sharing a room with 2 full paying adults.
No high chairs or young children are allowed in the Dining Room at dinner. A supper menu is available at 6 pm by prior arrangement, this menu is not available after 7 pm. Childrens portions of the dinner menu are available at 2/3 published price.
Dogs Policy
Dogs are welcome in Classic bedrooms however the hotel cannot guarantee a pet free room. Dogs are allowed in all public areas of the hotel except the main restaurant and drawing room We request that you advise us in advance if bringing a dog. A charge of £15.00 per dog, per night will apply. Dogs must not be left unattended in the room and must be kept under control at all times. The hotel reserve the right to charge for special cleaning and compensation for loss or damage in rooms.
Guests have the option to dine with their dog in our Alcove area during breakfast or in the evening (on request and subject to availability).
The Rooms at Ballathie House
Classic double room
Each room is individually decorated and elegantly furnished to the highest standards. All rooms are well-appointed, with private bathrooms, bathrobes and toiletries, trouser press, hairdryer, FreeView TV, direct dial telephones and tea/coffee making facilities.
Riverside
The 16 Riverside Rooms are located 100 yards from the Main House, linked by a lit pathway through the garden, alongside the famous River Tay.
Riverside rooms have been designed to help you escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Each ground floor bedroom has its own patio overlooking the River Tay. First floor rooms have a private balcony with stunning views over the river and the surrounding countryside. All provide the same level of luxury as those located in the Main House.
All rooms are en-suite with luxury bathrobes and amenities, trouser press, hairdryer, freeview t.v. and wireless internet access.
There is a lift in the Riverside building which takes guests to the first floor.
Master
Located on the first floor of the main building, these more spacious rooms boast views of the garden or the river - with seating areas designed to allow you to enjoy the views.
Classic Twin room
Each room is individually decorated and elegantly furnished to the highest standards. All rooms are well-appointed, with private bathrooms, bathrobes and toiletries, trouser press, hairdryer, FreeView TV, direct dial telephones and tea/coffee making facilities.
Riverside Twin room
