Our stay at Billesley Manor Hotel

Geoffrey H, Hampshire, stayed: February 2019

Found the hotel very comfortable, superior room was excellent and the food was as good as we have had on Cunard ships. The menu we had on this deal was the same for both nights we stayed, but we still had good choices.Hopefully the menu would have changed if we were there another night

A pleasant stay in a lovely location

Sally, Buckinghamshire, stayed: February 2019

We enjoyed our stay at Billesley Manor. The rooms were comfortable although we couldn t get any hot water in our shower as there was an issue with the water. The evening meal in the restaurant was nothing short of delicious! We made the most of the pool, sauna and steam room, although there is no jacuzzi, which is a shame. The restaurant staff were very attentive and polite at both dinner and breakfast time.
We had a lovely stroll in the beautiful gardens before leaving on the Sunday morning. The location is stunning, we would come again.

Birthday Night Away

Paul W, Warwickshire, stayed: January 2019

We usually have a night away for my wife's birthday and it can only be described as hit and miss with the quality of the overall experience. Our stay this year at Billesley Manor Hotel stands out as one of our best night's away we have ever had.
The warm welcome from the staff and the cosy ambience was just what we needed on a cold winters day. We both totally relaxed almost immediately in front of the open fire in the bar. Our evening meal was delightful and we felt very spoilt.
We will definitely return for some more of the same.
Thank you

A three day winter break.

PM, Devon, stayed: January 2019

We have just had a good three day winter break at The Billesley Manor Hotel, which was a lovely old manor house, a few miles from Stratford. The rooms were adequate and the atmosphere was made even better by the wood panelling and several open fires.

Special weekend

YH, West Yorkshire, stayed: January 2019

We had a lovely weekend with friends, staying at Billesley Manor and using it as a base to visit Stratford and its sites. The building, the room, the setting, everything was very special. It was lovely to return after a tiring day to sit in the bar and enjoy a gin and tonic. Unfortunately, there were never enough appropriate cocktail glasses! How can a hotel of this quality not have enough?  We enjoyed the use of the swimming pool. Everything was clean and well maintained.  The staff were friendly and efficient.  The temperature in the restaurant did fluctuate. I would like to say that the food was lovely although we did expect a different menu for the second evening, not the same one and the desert on the second evening was still frozen. I was surprised that it came out of the freezer!! Finally, coffee from those awful flasks at breakfast? Again, not what I expected from a hotel of this standard.
Overall, we had a lovely weekend. None of the above criticisms ruined what was a very special stay in a very special place.
