3 night break
Wanted to get away for a few days and as we love the part of England the hotel came up on the internet. Very pleased overall but on the expensive side but we needed a break. Loved the spa and especially the swimming pool. Shame you could still hear the main road at night.Gardens a relaxing shame it rained . Overall pleased , food nice but could have cooked the morning sausages a lot more as they didn t looked cooked . Many thanks
Relaxing experience
Beautiful setting, relaxing ambience in main areas. Spa pool was really excellent. Bedroom very good, though close proximity to conference room a little disconcerting ( Ragley suite). Reception staff experienced and helpful. The gentleman who welcomed us to the restaurant was very pleasant and professional. Our booking included dinner from the a la carte, we would not choose to take dinner again in the restaurant, though we might try the bar menu next time. We explored Leamington Spa and Warwick Castle during our 2 night stay and took a park and ride bus in to Stratford on our last morning. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
Lovely Manor House Stay
Great one night stay. Grounds superb and well looked after. Room very good with fan, although a long walk to find and no lift!
Food excellent but an hour wait between courses due to restaurant being full.
Helpful staff who prepared a breakfast table outside for us due to the exceptional weather.
Anniversary stay
A wonderful stay
The staff were so welcoming and happy, the room was very clean and gorgeous, the food was exceptional. The whole experience was 5 star and we will definitely be going back.
Vince and Ann's visit.
A beautiful building at a very nice location. We were greeted at reception by a very helpful and friendly receptionist. The room was showing signs of a need for updating, (bathroom taps, shower taps difficult to turn on and off, toilet seat requiring to be fixed into place, toilet cracked), but was very clean and comfortable.
The food and drinks were high standard, and we enjoyed the spa facilities.
A very enjoyable stay.
Lovely place pity about the economies?
Bueatiful place with good service however we encountered two problems.
First our deal included a bottle of house wine or 15 off other wines. I checked the house wine at the bar and it was an acceptable Merlo, when served in the Dining room they served the house wine they said, but it was a thin Italian cabenet savignon 10.5 % proof. I queried this but was assured it was the house wine which I reluctantly accepted. I was supprised that such a poor wine was served at this hotel. Later a member of staff said 'this is a cheepie we serve to those on a deal'!
Second my starter at diner was King Prawns but what was served was 4 small prawns, not a king in sight,.with a little compressed cucumber (cost 25p at most). I assume another economy measure!
Great hotel, lovely location
It was my daughter's 18th and we had a lovely morning breakfast in a beautiful hotel with lovely gardens. A memorable occasion before going off to University!
