Lovely romantic break

Claire, Buckinghamshire, stayed: March 2023

Stayed for my husbands birthday as a romantic get away.
Beautiful hotel and the food was amazing, the spa was very relaxing (lovely that it was adults only so very peaceful)
Great location right in the centre of Town with easily accessible parking

A wonderful, relaxing couple of days!

AR, Kent, stayed: March 2023

What a gorgeous place to stay! Welcoming staff where nothing is too much! The bed was really comfortable too.
We enjoyed the facilities the hotel had to offer as in the spa, which was a real treat!
We also enjoyed the wonderful food in their restaurant and their sister hotel/pub opposite.
A fantastic couple of days were had, thank you so very much!

Spa weekend

Anon, stayed: February 2023

Lovely old hotel in very pretty Chipping Campden.
Really nice spacious bedroom but with a ridiculous amount of lights & a whole panel on the wall to work them! Ceiling lights, side lights, a complete light show for the bathroom including disco lights over the bath! fireplace lights, wardrobe lights, desk lights & tea making corner lights but you had to stumble around in the dark trying to push the right button on the panel & no way you could keep a small light on in the bathroom to stop you breaking an ankle stumbling on the two steps down into it for nighttime trips to the loo.
Breakfast was preordered & disappointing, very greasy fried breakfast & very sparse buffet of cereal & pastries etc. Also they offer a 10am sitting but rush you to finish by clearing everything away from the buffet. On the Sunday we had cold toast with no butter & when we asked for more they bought the toast again with no butter, by the time we got the butter, the toast was cold.
Dinner was ok, not exceptional.
The spa was small but pleasant & you book a two hour slot, unfortunately there were not enough loungers for everybody & my friend & I shared one, people were arriving after us with nowhere to sit & it s awkward in such a small space.
Both hand basins in our bathroom were leaking from the U bends leaving quite a puddle on the floor, maintenance came to fix them but they still leaked.

Birthday surprise

Gina, Worcestershire, stayed: February 2023

Our stay at Cotswold House hotel and spa was a surprise for my partner. The customer service was excellent. I emailed the week before to see if it was possible for a room upgrade. We were upgraded to a garden room at no extra cost. Lovely spacious room, very clean, romantically set in the beautiful gardens. Visit to the spa was relaxing. There was a bit of a mix up with our treatments so they included them for free!
Restaurant and bar were fab, we had a tasty evening meal in the formal dining area, nice atmosphere. Food was nice, my linguine was a bit on the watery side.
Overall, we really enjoyed our mini break away, perfectly located to walk the Cotswold Way. We would stay again x
