Staff very welcoming and not rushed during breakfast or evening meal. There was attention to detail. Lovely couple of nights away to celebrate a special occasion. The grounds were lovely and ideal for a stroll after breakfast. Room was very clean and large comfortable bed. The only downside was no plug near a mirror to help dry and my hair.

Goldsborough Hall is a magnificent hotel.

We chose Goldsborough Hall for a special occasion, we enjoyed our stay in the Hutton Suite which was luxurious. On arrival the lift was out of order and our suite was on the 2nd floor not good for two pensioners near 80 years of age, the lift was repaired the next day. Our criticism is only having a limited choice of menu and the excessive price of alcohol.

A peaceful haven in difficult times

Anne, Staffordshire, stayed: October 2020

We booked this break to celebrate my 60th Birthday as we were unable to travel abroad. We wanted rest and relaxation and the hotel delivered . From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. We felt safe the whole time we were there and left feeling relaxed for the first time in months . The food was amazing each night and we particularly enjoyed the complementary glass of fizz , and extra dessert we were given on the first night to celebrate my birthday. We really liked ordering breakfast the night before and feel this should continue post Covid . Cannot praise the whole experience enough .

Happy

RG, Derbyshire, stayed: February 2019

We were made very welcome and at ease from the moment we walked in the entrance.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and interested in us.
The rooms were full of history but with all mod cons.
The food throughout the day was of an excellent standard.
The grounds and village were very pleasant to explore.
A very enjoyable stay.
