Quirky Hotel for food lovers

GA, Somerset, stayed: August 2016

We had a very relaxing stay in this hotel with somewhat quirky interior design which we loved - but may not be to others' taste of course. The inventive food and service was excellent but worth studying the menu before you book as whilst the cooking style was what we went for, it may not suit all. Cooked breakfasts were excellent with superb local ingredients. There were one or two minor issues with the state of decor/maintenance in our room/bathroom which needed attention, but not enough to impact on our stay. Would recommend talking to the hotel before booking to be sure the rooms, ambience and food style is what you really want.
