Excellent

Alan, Avon, stayed: December 2018

My husband and I stayed here when we visited the North West. We had an lovely time. I cannot praise this hotel enough. The staff were helpful, the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. It was comfortable and I could not have asked for one other thing. The food was absolutely marvellous. The cream tea we had was delicious and the evening meal was good too. All in all it is the best place we have stayed at for a long time.

\Lovely Hotel

John, stayed: December 2018

We enjoyed our stay at Inglewood manor we had a really lovely spacious room with views over the garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful from when we arrived till we left. We had a a nice evening meal of high standard but we were disappointed with the afternoon tea. It was supposed to be champagne but they gave us prosecco and the sandwiches were poor not much filling and the cakes were disappointing definitely not home made.

Not as expected

LF, Merseyside, stayed: October 2018

Having really looked forward to our short break we were very disappointed with Inglewood Manor. Having used a voucher ( 200) which had been a gift, it quickly became apparent that the staff felt this was some sort of cheapo deal and when we mentioned this to the restaurant staff we were met with ''oh, you're one of those...'' when asking why the champagne was missing from the afternoon tea (clearly advertised on the website). The included evening meal was very poor and tasteless. We waited 40 minutes for the starter in a mostly empty restaurant. The hotel has emailed us prior saying that due to an event, some facilities would not be available to us. When we asked what these facilities were, we were told it was applicable to communal areas, however, this meant there was nowhere to sit and enjoy a drink after the meal and had to return to our room after the meal.
I certainly would not recommend Inglewood Manor nor the Country Hotel Breaks website.

An excellent location and good service but the hotel is a little tired

Hadyn, Lancashire, stayed: October 2018

The hotel is in an excellent location and a wonderful building. The food is good as is the service. However, the fabric is looking tired and it is probably a good time for the recent change of ownership which will no doubt introduce a refurbishment as part of the future programme.

I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel in the future.

Lovely country setting with easy access.

Stephen R, South Glamorgan, stayed: October 2018

This lovely old country house hotel is within a short distance of Liverpool and Chester and all the other sites to see in that area. It was very quiet when we were there so if you want entertainment this is not the place for you. It has extensive, lovely grounds and a very welcoming staff. There are no lifts to be aware of that as our room No 21 was right at the top of the house and a long way to carry your suitcases. If you are looking for a peaceful break then this is the place for you.

2 night stay

Suzanne D, West Midlands, stayed: September 2018

The hotel is very grand and ideal for weddings or corporate meetings. Neither of these applied to our stay, we stayed for 2 nights while visiting the area. The room we had was very tired and not that clean. The glasses in the room were dirty and there was no soap in the bathroom, used my own. Next morning clean glasses and soap had been provided but the waste bin had not been emptied. Food was good.
