Choose this hotel as we have been many times before, try and stay at least once a year. Amazing staff, lovely rooms and fabulous restaurant. Nothing too much trouble. Will be back again and again

Excellent stay

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. The food we received was delicious and well presented, and also to a very high standard. Only one thing that slightly let it down was the short walk to the spa, in wind and rain it wasn't great. The pool was a little cold for my liking as was the hot tub, which was more like a warm bath. Spa staff were welcoming, and I really enjoyed my pedicure

Lovely break

We stay at Lake Country Hotel for one night in February. Our stay was perfect and just wished we stayed for two nights. The hotel is very welcoming and relaxing. We were greeted by lovely staff who were friendly and chatty. Although the hotel is old it was immaculate. Our room (lounge, bedroom and ensuite) was big. The bed was comfy. Our room was on the top floor but the staff are happy to help with bags. The food in the restaurant was lovely, hearty and plentiful. We made use of the spa with a jacuzzi outside which was idyllic, watching the red kites over the woodland. Kids are allowed in the swimming pool at certain times so if you want a more peaceful time then avoid those times (we didn't know but the information is readily available). My wife had a massage which she loved. Thank you to the staff for a fabulous break we will be returning.

Beautiful Get-away!

Lake Country House Hotel is in a lovely setting in the Welsh countryside. After arrival we were greeted with friendly, helpful staff. Our room/suite was luxurious with a super-kingsize bed and full, spacious bathroom and sitting room. We will always recall the amazing 4 course dinner, cooked to perfection and served impeccably by the wait staff. We were spoiled for choices with the Breakfast Buffet and choice of hot selections. And, not forgetting the wonderful massage and topping our stay with an Afternoon Full Tea, our stay was one to remember. We will definitely return in the future!

A quality hotel and Spa. Staff brilliant. Food excellent. Very comfortable and quiet location.
Enjoyed the swimming pool, steam room and jacuzzi.
