There are 9 bedrooms within the Castle itself, the remaining are situated within the grounds at Castle View (80 metres) and Castle View Lodge (180 metres).

Disabled Access
Although the building is Grade I listed, the team at Langley are committed to providing accessibility for all guests and have 2 bedrooms that are accessible.
There is no lift, but there is a service elevator suitable for wheelchairs.
The restaurant is on the ground floor.
Access to Castle View Room 23 from the marked parking bay is either via a flagstone path set into the lawn (25 metres) or via block paving path in front of Castle View (40 metres)
History of the hotel
This exquisite 27-bedroomed 14th century hotel property (built in 1350), has seen its interior razed to the ground during Border conflicts, had two of its owners meet a terrible end for supporting Jacobite uprisings, benefited from Pope Leo XIII's permission to have a consecrated castle on its 14th century battlements and trained young minds as a 1950s boarding school.
It has inspired J K Rowling for some of her Harry Potter content, and has had its medieval garderobes (toilets) declared possibly Europe's best example!.
Child Policy
This hotel is child-friendly.
Children are charged at £30 per child per night to include breakfast. A number of rooms have sofa beds, with folding z beds and cots also being available.

Dogs Policy
Langley Caslte Hotel is dog-friendly!
Dogs are welcome in Castle View rooms only and are subject to availability. The hotel will provide a water bowl, soft bed and feed for your dog. The cost per night is £25.
Dogs are not permitted in the main Castle itself.
Dogs should not be left unattended so as to become a nuisance to other residents and dogs are not allowed on the bed or soft furnishings.
You must be responsible for your dog and for any damage or additional cleaning of your room as a result of your dog.
There are 12 acres of grounds for the benefit and enjoyment of all guests. Whilst walking your dog, it would be appreciated if you kept the dog on a lead.
Other Information
Early check in and late check out at midday may be possible (on arrangement) at a charge of £25.

All five superior rooms have a spacious comfortable sitting area and superb views of the Castle and grounds. Beds are Super King size which can be divided into twin beds if required.
