Excellent accommodation and friendly staff.

Paul D, Lincolnshire, stayed: November 2024

Loved staying in a real castle and staff friendly and helpful. The room was amazing and having a Knight Bear to protect us was brilliant.

Enjoyed the castle tour and learning the history of the building.

Only minor criticism was that we like our food hot.

Fairytale

Sara Y, West Midlands, stayed: October 2024

We stayed in a castle suite which gave us a view of the castle
We enjoyed taking a few steps each morning and evening to the restaurant
The breakfast was lovely but the evening meal experience was another lever
The huge drawing room and being escorted to the dinning room
Then a wonderful ambiance and amazing food it was definitely a dinning experience
We loved the peacocks in the grounds it just made it so wonderful

Fabulous

Rebecca D, Nottinghamshire, stayed: August 2024

I bought my husband here to mark our 1 year anniversary and it didn't disappoint. The d cor is a little chintzy and not particularly medieval but this does add to the charm. Due to this I wasn't expecting much from the restaurant but the food was delicious, a real fine dining experience. The bedroom was spacious, warm and inviting. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We only stayed for one night but it felt longer as the stay was so relaxed with lovely helpful staff. I would recommend and I would return.

Lovely Anniversary break

Lynne P, Lancashire, stayed: August 2024

Enjoyed a lovely relaxing anniversary 2 day break. Stayed in a superior castle view room as feature rooms were all booked. Very nice room , and glad the weather was good , so didn t get wet going up to the main building . Castle is full of character , and the free guided tour of the castle history after breakfast was a real bonus . Very pleasant staff , especially young man on reception who seemed to do a lot of running around . Location was ideal and handy to get around .

Day and Night Variance.

AB, Lancashire, stayed: July 2024

Service in the restaurant was strikingly different at breakfast and dinner.
Dinner service was excellent which made breakfast a bit of a shock.
Both mornings were different and difficult but one particularly.
Clearly there were tensions between the staff one suited lady had no patience with a dark haired lady didn t help her and was later complaining to colleagues about another waitress who clearly irritated her a bubbly lady who providing the tour. These poor interpersonal skills were apparent to everyone.
There was no orange juice at breakfast and we had to also wait for coffee as the machine had run out .
The next morning was better with cheerful friendly staff but we were in the pavilllion and I had to leave the table to go into the main restaurant to request pastries and coffee.

We stayed at Langley Castle as an overnight stay on our way to Scotland and it did not disappoint!
Lovely bedroom, evening meal was delicious and we was wowed by the crepes suzette being made in front of us by our table. Breakfast was superb.
