Fabulous

Roger, Channel Isles, stayed: July 2023

Lewtrenchard Manor has to be the best hotel we have experienced for many a year. From the very onset stepping into reception to register to settling the bill the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.
We were using the accessible room which is fabulously designed with plenty of room for the wheelchair, a very comfortable bed and the ensuite was well laid out with walk in shower with seat, toilet and bath each well fitted with arms and handrails.
The ground floor was totally accessible with restaurant, bar. Lounges and library.
The menu in the restaurant was very good and the presentation and taste excellent. (There seems to e a three day rolling menu)
Although we were somewhat unlucky with the weather there was much to within a short drive and plenty to fill in the time spent in the hotel

2 night stay

KB, Devon, stayed: May 2023

We booked the Purple Carrot for our first night. The food, the chefs, the food and the experience were all excellent and the lady on duty that night made our evening complete with her personal touch.
Our standard room in the roof space was a bit pokey with its low ceilings.
Our second night in the restaurant seemed quite ordinary by comparison to the first night.

Relaxing and dog friendly

Keith R, Devon, stayed: May 2023

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the room, Seymour, was ideal for those with a dog. Enjoyed walking round the grounds which helped make it a relaxing stay.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Would consider booking for another stay some time in the future.

Excellent for a weekend break

Joanne, Surrey, stayed: May 2023

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. The staff were friendly, helpful and enhanced our stay. It s a great location to discover more of both Devon and Cornwall. The food was a delicious experience itself. Highly recommend.
