Hotel with a difference

First timers.

We quite enjoyed our stay @ Lumley. The breakfasts were excellent but the Food we had for dinner was a little disappointing. The rib eye steak was quite tough to eat. We also thought that the fairly limited wine list was expensive & not good value.
The setting of the Hotel is excellent in beautiful grounds next door to a golf course.
The room we had was quite acceptable - not the biggest but comfortable enough for a 2 night stay.

Brilliant Staff

Stayed at the hotel for two nights, we were made very welcome and were impressed with the level of service by all members of staff. The room was spacious without any problems. However, would not go amiss for a little updating. Disappointed with only one small wardrobe for cloths.
