We stayed at Orestone Manor in September.
We were warmly welcomed on arrival and our room was available early which was a great bonus. Although within plenty of time, we enquired about having a light lunch however there was initially some doubt about whether this was going to be possible which was unfortunate as we felt we were imposing. We were accommodated however and sat on the sunny terrace overlooking a beautiful garden and enjoyed an excellent salad/soup.
We had a fabulous view from our bedroom overlooking the garden with a glimpse of the sea. It s a minor thing and very much our personal view however the quirky decoration was not to our taste and it felt a little dated.
Our evening meal was excellent as was the service. The food choice was interesting, the plates were beautifully presented and the ambience pleasant. Would definitely visit the restaurant again if in the area. Breakfast was also very good, plentiful and again plenty of choice.
The hotel is well located for lovely countryside and the next morning we walked down to Maidencombe beach which was lovely.
All in all, a pleasant stay.
A Lovely Stay
We booked a room with a hot tub for my husbands birthday. We had the breakfast and dinner package. Quite simply everything was spot on and we look forward to staying again.
Two night stay in a deluxe room for our anniversary. could not fault it, would not hesitate to return in the future.
Lovely hotel friendly staff. Room was very nice. Food was excellent. Would definitely visit again.
Glad to be back!
We have stayed here many times over the years and it was good to be back. We had a wonderful de-luxe room, the food was excellent and the staff were as always friendly and super efficient. It is also situated in the perfect location for touring the local area.
