Off Peak Break
Very relaxing break, all staff extremely helpful . Food was very enjoyable but found that menu was not changed during our 6 night stay which was a bit restrictive to choice .
Happy customer
Lovely location which makes dining a particular pleasure with looking over to the Scottish mainland. Very friendly staff and pets are welcome which is an absolute bonus. Will definitely return. Well done Stonefield Castle.
Again at Stonefield
Enjoyed again staying at Stonefield, this time for 4 days.
Facilities and comfort in our updated loch facing room were good.
Breakfasts excellent, apart from a small flat kipper a strange orange colour and not looking at all as a kipper should. Dinners mostly good, with the exception of charging 14 for one sliced up scallop.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Hotel would benefit from refurbishment of the exterior, especially the stonework.
We look forward to staying again at Stonefield.
Retreat
We wanted a relaxing retreat in beautiful surroundings. We got that and more.the barman Jamie surprised me with a birthday surprise.
Fantastic
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Stonefield. From the moment we arrived the staff were on hand to help in every way possible. Amazing walks and views all around the property, and fantastic meals to finish the evenings. I d happily recommend staying here to anyone.
Excellent service in a beautiful location
A stunning location with beautiful gardens! Very welcoming staff, wonderful meal and a fascinating, beautiful building. We hope to come back!
Lovely place with only one issue.
Only criticism would be the restaurant front of house staff and one person was out of step with the quiet efficient atmosphere of the dining room. This person was not of the standard I would expect from a high quality hotel. Everything else was fine and enjoyed the stay.
