The Beech Hill Hotel

CR, Merseyside, stayed: February 2019

The hotel is a bit tired and dated although the location is great with fabulous views cross Windermere and close to Bowness (minus the road closure).

The staff were friendly and obliging whilst the evening meal and breakfasts were pretty good. Overall the hotel is well overdue a major refurbishment

January break

Stuart M, Wiltshire, stayed: January 2019

The hotel was wonderful, view from our room sensational apart from the fog which appeared on a couple of days. My massage on the Sunday was to die for. Food exceptional, the fillet steak was mouth watering. Would have liked to see maybe something to do after dinner in the lounge, maybe packs of cards or board games which would bring more people in and spend extra in the bar area. Just a little niggle. Had a lovely time even with the diversion due to the road closure. You should be very proud of all your employees, nothing was too much trouble.

Thank you

Stuart and Liz Moon

Good lakeside hotel, with magnificent views and free parking.

MS, Lancashire, stayed: January 2019

Wonderful position with views over lake Windermere, through large windows, from balconies and garden areas.

Very pleasant staff!

All food is good and the evening meals are great.

The indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room are welcoming.
The outside jacuzzi is excellent, with views over the lake and hills, which is very relaxing.

We always enjoy our stay!
