Wonderful staff who really looked after us!

We had a lovely break at the Croft. The staff really looked after us and were particularly helpful when our son broke down in his car and they found a bed for him at 4am in the morning!

Croft Hotel

We had a lovely weekend despite quite a few "niggles". Firstly, due to the age of the building our entire room was on a hill. This in itself is not a problem, however when the head of the bed is about a foot lower than the foot of the bed this needs to be sorted.
The heating wasn't working in the room in December.
1st nights dinner due to an "important" wedding event we had to eat practically 10 mins after we arrived instead of our booked time. Felt rushed and the restaurant was freezing but food was quite good. 2nd night food was awful probably due to a wedding party.
Our room was right above the booming disco, despite a load of wedding guests in the hotel - why not put the private people in the disco room?
On check out we had to wait around 30 mins for the bill to be resolved as they wanted to charge us 30 for some frankly awful house wine which was included in the package.
Would go again, not with dinner.
Oh breakfast fabulous and the staff lovely.

We spent 3 nights there and staff were kind and helpful. Food good, rooms clean.

Enjoyed the stay very much. Staff were friendly - the restaurant was good. Overall a comfortable stay.

2 night break

Good hotel with a big room. Breakfast and dinner substancial and delicious. Next to a noisy road. Nothing much in Croft at this time of year.

We had a really relaxing break, room was excellent. Staff very friendly. Restaurant was good.
