Parking Facilities

Car parking at the hotel is very limited and is on a first come first served basis. Parking at the hotel is chargeable at £12.00 per night. If you wish to park at the hotel, you will need to advise the reception team that you have parked onsite and obtain parking permits for your stay.

There are also a number of off-street parking options available close by.

History of the hotel

This Victorian hotel in sandstone has a long and distinguished history that reaches back to the early 1600s when visitors first began to drink the waters of the world's strongest known Sulphur Well.

With a history dating back over 300 years, alongside an enviable location just moments from many of Harrogate's most popular sites.

In 1847, the central section of the Crown was rebuilt in a chaste neoclassical design.

The Crown reopened to visitors in 1958.

Child Policy

Family rooms are available at a supplement. Please contact us if a family room is required.

Suites can take one additional bed for children up to the age of 12.

Executive rooms cannot accommodate families.

Children under 12 stay free of charge, any meals would be charged as taken.

Dogs Policy

Dogs are accepted in selected rooms. There is a dog charge of £15 per dog per night. 

You may dine with your dog in Henry's Bar or The Place Cafe. Dogs are not allowed in The Churchill Suite restaurant.
