Executive Head Chef, Robert Walsh trained in his home town of Brixham, situated just across the River Dart, for over 10 years. His passion for local ingredients developed from this historic fishing town, where the very best local catches and locally reared meats were available to him. His love of the local area and close relationships with local suppliers has brought enthusiasm and a new direction to the dining experience to the Dartmouth Bar and Bistro. Robert has created his menus to reflect the delights our local area has to offer sourcing the best local suppliers
Robert ensures that you experience the very best of local food, the beef is locally sourced from Dunterton Farm in Shaldon, Bruckner & Sons of Dartmouth supply dairy products to the club, while seafood is purchased from Dartmouth Fishmongers "Moby Nicks" and local fish markets. The Dartmouth Smoke House provide all smoked food to the kitchen, bread is made daily by their dedicated kitchen team! Ice Cream is supplied by the renowned Dartmouth Ice Cream Company. In addition, the hotel purchases only fair-trade coffee, tea and sugar, while all fruit and vegetables are purchased from a local wholesaler in Totnes.

Opening Times
A buffet breakfast is served at the hotel from 7am - 10.30am daily.
Meals are served in the Bistro from 7.30am until 9.30pm daily.
