There is a complimentary private car park behind the hotel. To find the car park drive past the hotel with it on your right and then turn right into East Mill Lane, turn right again in front of Sherborne Business Centre and follow the lane around to the back of the hotel. You can walk up the garden path to reception from the car park.
How to get here
Sherborne has a central location with good road and rail links between London and the South West – by road on the A303 and M5 and by rail on the main London Waterloo line. Sherborne is also midway between both Bournemouth / Poole and Bristol / Bath.
By rail

By air

By car (2.5 hours from London, 1 hour from Bristol)
From the M5 take Junction 25 (Taunton). Take the A358 to Ilminster. Follow this until you reach the A303. Follow the signs to Andover/London on the A303 until you reach the A3088 to Yeovil. Sherborne is then signposted from Yeovil via the A30.
From the M25 take Junction 12 (M3). Follow the M3 southbound until Junction 8. Follow the A303 to Wincanton. Take the A357 signposted to Blandford Forum. Just after you pass underneath the A303 turn right onto the B3145 to Sherborne.
Once in Sherborne, follow the A30 towards Shaftesbury. Pass the Fire Station on your right, then take the first right into North Road. At the crossroads go straight over and into St Swithin's Road. At the bottom turn left onto Long Street and The Eastbury is immediately on the right.

Location & Local Attractions
As the ancient capital of Dorset, Sherborne is rich in history and culture and The Eastbury Hotel is conveniently located just a short stroll from the town centre.
The lovely winding high street has all sorts on offer from boutique fashions through to fine art and antiques. Of particular note is the medieval Abbey set in a commanding position right in the centre of the town. Sherborne Castle and the medieval ruins of Sherborne Old Castle are located just to the East.
A short drive away are the National Trust properties of Montacute and Stourhead and Tintinhull Gardens. Family friendly days out include The Haynes Motor Museum and The Fleet Air Arm Museum. For walkers and cyclists there's a multitude of stunning local trails including the North Dorset Trailway and routes through the Blackmore Vale and the Dorset Downs with many conservation areas and sites of special interest.
A little further afield is Dorset's famous Jurassic Coast, now a World Heritage Site, and just under an hour by car.
