History of the hotel

The Elms was built in 1710 and designed by Thomas White, a pupil of Sir Christopher Wren. White's other work includes the Guildhall at Worcester, which contains many features similar to the house. Master rooms and Suites can accommodate additional beds and cots for children. Please call to check availability, supplements will apply. Children are accommodated on a Bed and Breakfast basis and are charged at £25 per child per night.

This charge applies for all children aged 1-15 years.  It includes their bed & breakfast.  It will still apply if you bring your own cot.

The charge for 16 years and above is charge at £65 for bed & breakfast, per night.  However this is only if the child is sharing with parents in a room suitable to accommodate them.

The Elms has acres of grounds and open countryside in every direction, so they always give a warm welcome to dogs.

If you'd like to bring pooch along for an extra £15 per night, book into one of the dog-friendly Coach House bedrooms. Please remember to bring your own dog's bedding, food and treats.

The grounds

With 10 acres of outdoor space you have plenty of gardens to explore, whilst the more energetic can play Tennis or Croquet.

Perfect romantic get away, but not too intimate

Louise C, West Midlands, stayed: December 2018

We came here for my partners 40th birthday as we didn t have time to go away abroad. What a great substitute.

We arrived at 6pm and the car park was full, but you couldn t hear or see any other residents, which was lovely, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We had time to settle in before dinner and had a wander around, no where is out of bounds, so enjoy!

Dinner was amazing... try the lamb, it s perfect! Pace yourself, it s very filling! Relax after dinner in the giant foyer, the fireplace is stunning... fingers crossed the fire is on.  The bar is a fabulous chesterfield laden, hidden gem!

Perfect nights sleep and we felt so relaxed we slept through breakfast.  We didn t try the spa as we had to dash, but it was tucked round the back, very modern, snug, but big enough for a few of you to get together or just two of you to enjoy.

We will definitely back!

A night away at The Elms

CT, Worcestershire, stayed: October 2018

Our overnight stay at the Elms was very pleasant with some interesting cocktails in the bar, coffee and tea served sitting by a log fire in the grand hallway and an extremely good three course meal served in the restaurant. Our room was clean and had a double aspect and comfortable bed and because of the nature of the building was reached by climbing quite a few stairs. We didn't have time to investigate the spa nor the gardens.

Enjoyable relaxing weekend

Dan, Worcestershire, stayed: October 2018

We returned for our 1 year wedding anniversary so it was great to be back to where we had so many happy memories from the wedding day itself. Staff really looked after us and even provided us with some anniversary truffles. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.
