We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moonrakers. It was warm and friendly. We upgraded to a superior room which was spacious.
Restaurant was good with a wide menu

Pleasant stay

Anon, stayed: November 2023

A pleasant stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was nice and spacious. The king size bed was really comfortable, we slept very well. The bathroom is the one thing that could be improved, it's a bit tired. The dinner was excellent, really high standard. Our OffPeakLuxury package which included dinner and breakfast was excellent value for money.

Pleasant country hotel. Room was warm and comfortable with large bathroom with separate shower, huge bed and good amenities. The food was excellent, and the waitress friendly and helpful.

Relaxing midweek break

CH, Surrey, stayed: October 2023

A welcoming ambience. The staff were both friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and well presented with plenty of space, comfortable beds and, in our case, an excellent position opposite hotel amenities: reception, restaurant and lounge area. The stay was only spoilt on the first day by lack of heating in the room and bedroom. This was later switched on but unfortunately was off in the morning. Thankfully this was rectified on the second day.

Fabulous midweek break

Steph, Dorset, stayed: October 2023

What an absolute gem this hotel is. Perfectly located for our cycling break along the nearby tow paths of the Kennet & Avon Canal.
The most welcoming of hotels with excellent customer service (nothing was too much trouble), lovely cozy rooms, delicious breakfast & exquisite dinners. Highly recommend this little gem

A welcoming characterful hotel

MW, Gloucestershire, stayed: October 2023

On first sight of the hotel we knew we would enjoy our stay. Although booked for only one night for our special anniversary everything was as we hoped after viewing The Moonraker website. Welcoming friendly staff. Large unusual design premier bedroom with an ensuite with the wow factor. Bed very comfortable and a lovely view over the countryside. Food excellent and the two friendly young waiters who served us for our evening meal were very attentive and looked after us helping to make for a lovely dining experience.
Breakfast was exceptional.
