Nice room, lovely food, very helpful staff

Short stay.

We located the hotel/pub for its proximity to Chester. We were very pleasantly delighted with the overall decor, the room, the location next to the River Dane 7, in particular, the staff. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, "we'll be back".

Friendly Staff, excellent food..

This Vicarage is in a great location to explore Cheshire. The rooms are a bit dated and we had some house keeping issues but the evening manager Paul sorted this and went above and beyond. All the staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast was very good but the evening meals were excellent.

A pleasant night away

We planned a night away and this liked a nice place to stay. Reviews were pretty good.
Restaurant and bar area are nice, plenty places to sit. If the weather is nice areas outside too.
I looked at the website before booking and just thought our room would be a little more luxurious, but choices were limited that weekend.

Overall it was a nice night away. Food was very nice in the restaurant and breakfast was excellent.

I would stay again.

Great Value with the deal

Great staff, nice food, nice environment. Was very quiet as in Feb hence got a good deal.
