A pleasant break

Andrew, Essex, stayed: September 2019

A good base for our 2 night stay in the Cotswolds. Dinner was ok the first night but better the second night. Room was a good size with a lovely bathroom. I felt it a little odd there was no hanging space or anywhere to put our clothes, other than the window seats and in our case on the case rack.

Beer was good and breakfast was ok, although my poached egg was undercooked. Overall a nice place to stay but food could be better.

There seemed to be a lot of staff, who ranged from keen to experienced.

Would we visit again? Perhaps, but there is a lot of choice in the Cotswolds.
