Beautiful country inn

The end was lovely. There is no accommodation for that significantly disabled. Our room was up a set of steep stairs and we loaded our luggage in and out ourselves. The restaurant was amazing.

Wonderful stay

We spent a night at this lovely hotel. It's set in the most wonderful part of Wales. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had the six course tasting menu and we have to say it was some of the best food and wine we've had. The whole atmosphere was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable making it a memorable evening and we'll definitely be recommending it to others. The five course breakfast tasting menu was totally unexpected and delicious.

Escape to the country

We had a beautiful one night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary . There was a warm welcome as we arrived and after we were shown to our room we enjoyed a drink on the veranda overlooking the pretty gardens. We had a dinner reservation for 8 pm so after we freshened up we had plenty of time for a glass of fizz in the elegant lounge. Dinner in the restaurant is an experience. Each member of staff were friendly and very knowledgable. We had the ten course tasting menu along with the wine pairing. Every course was spectacular and each wine paring was perfect. It s not a rushed affair, time is taken to enjoy each course. It was a memorable evening. Our room was dainty but perfectly comfortable. I would say that for us it was all about the food and the beautiful setting rather than the room but as I say the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a five course tasting menu. Just perfect! Our stay all too soon came to an end but we will return. We think the place will be stunning in the Autumn so we will plan another stay for then.

A really lovely stay

We had a really lovely stay at Tyddyn Llan Country Hotel, the staff were always on hand for anything we required, without being too over-bearing.

The position is wonderful, quiet and surrounded by the fantastic countryside. The rooms are very nice, clean and full of character which is what you'd expect from a country property.

We stayed for 2 nights and the food was well presented and delicious.

Thank you to all the staff who made us feel very welcome.

Lovely overnight stay, great food.

Only a couple of minor things which is why we gave room only 4 star. Pillows were lumpy and our mattress was uncomfortable.

Off the beaten track

Beautiful location, gardens well maintained and expansive. The room was charming if a little faded. Wonderful gleaming white fluffy towels and fantastic hot water.
I feel that the mattress and pillows need upgrading.
The weather was amazing so we had pre dinner drinks in the garden, the bar area is a little drab .
The food was absolutely superb, excellent menu , difficult to choose!! Breakfast equally excellent.
