Off the beaten track

Beautiful location, gardens well maintained and expansive. The room was charming if a little faded. Wonderful gleaming white fluffy towels and fantastic hot water.
I feel that the mattress and pillows need upgrading.
The weather was amazing so we had pre dinner drinks in the garden, the bar area is a little drab .
The food was absolutely superb, excellent menu , difficult to choose!! Breakfast equally excellent.

Tyddyn Llan Country Hotel

Excellent location , Very warm welcome , Staff were very friendly and efficient , nothing was too much trouble . Food and wine excellent . Lovely accommodation.

Great overnight stop in the beautiful Dee valley in North Wales. Restaurant with rooms is the perfect description, and in my view a better place to stay than a Hotel with restaurant, particularly if you like food!
Bedrooms are functional, restaurant tables are comfortable and not too close to each other. The food was excellent whether you had been yomping over the hills or driven for many hours. Staff coming from an eclectic group of countries, the common denominator being 'service with a smile'.
Would recommend to anyone in the vicinity and will stay again myself if in that area again.

An interesting Experience

A lovely hotel with excellent gardens in a pleasing setting.
We were attracted here by a recommendation regarding the gourmet restaurant which proved to be a little disappointing.
