Disabled Access
There is one ground floor fully accessible room with a walk in shower which is a short walk from the main hotel building, this is a Deluxe Family room.
They have one ground floor Junior Suite with a walk in shower.
All Classic rooms have a shower over the bath. Please contact us if the accessible room is required.
The hotel does not have a lift.
All bedrooms are in the courtyard or stable blocks which are a short walk from the main hotel.
History of the hotel
The name Widbrook dates from 1279 and relates to the brook that runs through the hotel's grounds. Widbrook Grange was originally built as a model farm during the early 1700's and consisted then, as it does today, of a large and impressive main house with its comfortable lounges and log fires. Surrounded by stables and barns which now house many bedrooms and an indoor swimming pool. On both sides of the house, reflecting its agricultural heritage, are some fine examples of bee bowls and extensive lawns sweep down to the brook.
Child Policy
Children are welcome in family rooms. Children are charged at £25 per child per night on a bed and breakfast basis. There must be at least one adult in rooms with the children. There are two family rooms which can accommodate two adults two children.
The family room for three consists of one King size bed and one sofa bed.
The family room for four consists of one King size bed, one sofa bed and one Z bed.
The swimming pool is open:-
7.15am to 9pm weekdays
8.15am to 9pm weekends
No age or time restriction for children, as long as they are accompanied by an adult
Dogs Policy
Widbrook Grange understands that your furry friend is part of the family and is happy to welcome your most cherished travel companions into our hotel whether it be just for a night of an extended stay. Your pets will receive a warm welcome because we believe that no family member should be left behind.
Dog friendly rooms are located in the stable block. There are no dog friendly rooms in the main hotel.
Owners are able to dine with their dog in the conservatory only.
Dogs are welcome in the lounge, snug and bar area (not to dine)
Please note: £20 per dog fee will be charged, per night. Maximum 2 dogs in a room. Thank you.
The grounds
Set in 11 acres of grounds, you may be lucky enough to see deer walking through, doves flying around, rabbits, pheasant and squirrels happily feeding.

Cosy Double overlooks the beautifully tended gardens and features an ensuite bathroom, the rooms are not family-friendly.
King size bed, some are dog friendly. Bath with a overhead Shower.

Classic rooms are located in the converted stable block which are a short walk from the main hotel. Classic Bedrooms are very light and airy with garden views. These lovely, rustic rooms are designed to the same high standard as all the Widbrook interiors, they are just a tiny bit smaller.These bedrooms are dog friendly, but they are not family friendly. Twin bedded rooms are available on request, please contact us if a Twin bedded room is required.

Super Deluxe Double
Dreamy Super Deluxe Double bedrooms are on the first floor in the main Farmhouse, at the heart of the estate. They aren't dog-friendly but they are literally everything else. With roll-top tubs in the bedroom, spacious rainfall showers in the bathroom and their own quirky personalities, they are the epitome of country-chic.

Junior suite
The suite has a very comfortable super king sized bed, a roll top bath and walk in shower. This is the largest room in the hotel and located in the stable block.
The Suite is family friendly and has space for 3 extra single beds.
