At Junction 15 M40 exit motorway. Take the 4th Exit at Roundabout following signs for Stow/Cirencester. Follow signs leading towards Stow on the A429. Continue through Stow, After 1 mile there will be a steep decent, branch left onto the A424 towards Burford. After approximately 1 ½ mile you will approach the entrance to the hotel on your right, before a steep ascent.
From South
Exit the M40 at junction 8 and take the A40 Cheltenham (15 miles) At the Burford roundabout take the 3rd exit onto A361 towards Chipping Norton At the mini roundabout turn left onto the A424 The hotel entrance is on the left on top of a steep decent.
From West

September Autumn break
Very good location with a 10 min drive to Burford & similar time to Stow-on- the -Wold.
Lovely setting in acres of surrounding farm land.
Lovely idilic walks within the hotels grounds.
Ample car parking.
Breakfast and evening meals excellent with very attentive dining and reception staff.
Bed very comfortable.
The hotel is furnished within keeping with its mid 18th century construction with later additions sympathetically incorporated.
Lovely stay
Our second time here, and enjoyed our stay very much. The restaurant, food and waiting staff are excellent. A perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds - we will be back.
Made an Occasion of our Golden Wedding Anniversary
We were given an upgrade on an already excellent deal. This made the holiday for us. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed one of the most relaxing breaks we have had in our fifty years of marriage. For us it was a true celebration
Massive bedroom
We had a lovely two night break with good food and drinks. They even had draught beer! We have never stayed in a hotel with such large bedrooms. Room enough for a 3 piece suite as well. Lovely gardens to wander around and pretty villages close by. We will return.
Highly recommended
We went there for our anniversary celebration and enjoyed the 2 days stay very much. Luxurious surrounding and food was awesome! The room was very large and luxurious with a huge bathroom. Only small criticism is it needed more lights. Apart from that everything else was perfect. Would love to go there again.
Short Stay
Relaxing, enjoyable break in a welcoming hotel. Feel that the decor and furnishings are in need of refurbishment. The plumbing system needs attention - no hot water in our bathroom unless the taps were left running for about 10 minutes each time we needed a shower. Not very environmentally friendly.
