My husband and I had a really relaxing stay at the hotel.Simon ,Gillian and all the staff were both extremely friendly and attentive.
The food was excellent and the hotel spotlessly clean and inviting.
We look forward to a return visit.

A lovely Spring break.

Spent a very relaxing two days here .. we were welcomed by the owners and they suggested places for us to visit. The breakfast was excellent with any choice freshly cooked. Dinner equally enjoyable.
As I had poor mobility due to a recent operation I received great consideration. Lovely rural location.

Lovely little Gem with friendly family feel

Recently had the pleasure of visiting Apple Tree Hotel and could not have been made more welcome by Simon on arrival. Hotel had been very busy previous week but quiet when we arrived which suited us greatly. Rooms were very clean, fresh with a view over the gardens. Simon and wife were so helpful and knowledgeable with trips and suggestions for days out. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was outstanding (try the lemon sole!!!) Only did not reserve table for the next night due to not knowing where our travels (so many good suggestions by Simon) would take us. The daily specials looked exceptional !

To top it, Simon had been super busy on check out and accidentally overcharged us - he rang on our way home to apologies and credited the money back to account - thanks Simon.

Would definitely re-visit - Oh and breakfast was also super!!

A very pleasant stay.

Superb hospitality and very pleasant couple who own it,where nothing is too much trouble.
Rooms are light and airy,with spotlessly clean toilets and showers/bathrooms.
Food was of very generous portions and excellent quality.
Good car parking.
Thanks to Simon and Gillian for a lovely stay.

A relaxing 5 days!

Apple Tree Hotel is cosy, friendly and unostentatious. We were very well attended to by Simon and his team who were happy to meet any of our practical or dietary needs, we would thoroughly recommend the Apple Tree if you want somewhere to feel "at home" and looked after. All the features of our room worked fine.
The area it is set in as a whole warrants exploring as it embraces such varying landscapes and experiences.
Can thoroughly recommend it.

Overnight stop

This stay was a treat courtesy of our daughter. The hotel was easy to find but in a quiet and peaceful location. Check in was super easy and Simon was warm and welcoming. The room was everything we required for a relaxing stop and we were delighted with the quality and standard of food we experienced for dinner and breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Excellent stay, far exceeded our expectations!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay.
Our party of four persons experienced a perfect break
which was sorely needed.
Simon and his team were exceptional in every aspect of
our stay, which incidentally, was not long enough.
Food excellent, choice from menu and blackboard
gave you a very varied selection, freshly cooked with fresh vegetables, encouraging us
to eat every night in the restaurant, which was looked
forward to.
From the moment that I booked through country hotel
breaks, I had a good feeling about our imminent holiday in June 2022.
Looks like we will be back from West Sussex!
