Location & Local Attractions
Located in Pembrokeshire – voted the 2nd best coastline in the World by National Geographic!
Britain's only truly coastal national park with an abundance of habitats and wildlife, covering 258 miles of coastline, whether you decide to drive, cycle, walk or take the seasonal tourist bus route. Within the park itself you'll also find six national nature reserves including the world famous Skomer Marine Nature Reserve - one of only a handful of marine reserves in the UK.
Aside from the wildlife and breathtaking scenery, people have also lived here for centuries, existing in harmony with the rugged cliffs and coves - you're never too far from an ancient burial mound, castle, Celtic cross or Welsh legend such as The Mabinogion. The harbour port of Tenby, whose charter was first issued in 1206, is well worth a visit, as is St. David’s with its 13th century Cathedral where Wales’s own Dewi Sant (Saint David) founded a monastery on the site.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. We had dinner included up to 25 ppn but found the prices in the restaurant high and this meant that the sum was not enough for three courses. The menu was limited (especially desserts) and the food took ages to arrive. It was of an excellent standard though. Breakfast, likewise, took a long time and the buffet selection was very limited. The rooms were nice but the plumbing needs updating as the toilets had insufficient pressure to flush properly.
Overall, a very pleasant stay.
Definitely not a luxury experience- swimming pool almost as cold as the reception/service, whilst food had to be sent back twice.
We stayed for a 3 night break, the staff were fantastic couldn't be more helpful, friendly and professional. The restaurant had a good variety of food and drinks and the portion sizes wete generous. The spa was great my only concern was the noise from the corridor while we were having treatments.
Rooms were spacious, clean with tea, coffee and bottled water available . Overall this is a fantastic hotel for couples to enjoy a break and relax
Good value for money
Room 6 very nice but needs double glazing, also main entrance door to hotel needs a soft closing mechanism fitted. Our room was right above it and windows shake every time it slammed shut.
Otherwise a nice place, good food and very helpful staff.
I think the quality of the food, in the conservatory, was disappointing, although the staff and service were excellent. Breakfast was very good. Not much choice for evening meals. The conservatory was a little tired and needed updating. Also there were dead flies on the Window sill by our table.
Could do better
I have visited this hotel 14 times In last 11 years and have watched it deteriorated which is very sad when we arrived I had arranged room 25 as only 5 steps to negotiate but put in no 15 to hey sorted it out once. However not enough towels for us we requested them 3 times before we got them but the following morning. The prosseco we ask s twice for it. My husband and I ordered sea bass he got sea bass I was given salmon. I got the sea bass eventually. The only gluten free bread was rolls none suitable for toast with my poached eggs. The only rolls were awful. The ordinary bread rolls offered to my husband on the Wednesday evening were mixed with tb nut rolls. I mentioned to their young waitress they should be separate and she said why. I explained about fatal but allergy. She did not seem to be aware of anaphylactic. I had booked the evening meal for 7 pm each evening with them a few weeks earlier. However it had not been noted. We did not make a scene and tried to reassure staff but feel management needs to train better.
1st night was very good service the 2nd night was very pour we had to wait an hour for our food so did other guests they were then given a free meal when I complained all I was given was 4 pound off I will never use the hotel agen and will not reconmend it to friends and family eather
Kind regards Martyn Robbins
