Location & Local Attractions
Located in Pembrokeshire – voted the 2nd best coastline in the World by National Geographic!
Britain's only truly coastal national park with an abundance of habitats and wildlife, covering 258 miles of coastline, whether you decide to drive, cycle, walk or take the seasonal tourist bus route. Within the park itself you'll also find six national nature reserves including the world famous Skomer Marine Nature Reserve - one of only a handful of marine reserves in the UK.
Aside from the wildlife and breathtaking scenery, people have also lived here for centuries, existing in harmony with the rugged cliffs and coves - you're never too far from an ancient burial mound, castle, Celtic cross or Welsh legend such as The Mabinogion. The harbour port of Tenby, whose charter was first issued in 1206, is well worth a visit, as is St. David’s with its 13th century Cathedral where Wales’s own Dewi Sant (Saint David) founded a monastery on the site.

Lovely weekend away for our 35th Wedding Anniversary
Really enjoyed our stay. This was our second visit. Will definitely be visiting again.
Beautiful Hotel, very clean, good food, relaxing stay
We bought a two night deal with a 3 course meal included on both nights and a bottle of Prosecco in the room. We didn't get our Prosecco on arrival but had it with our meals in the end. There was a good choice of meals on the menu and great quality, waitress service could do with a little improvement. Breakfasts were great, with a huge variety of choice. The management team were very helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. We used the spa facilities one day and had a treatment, very nice, although would comment not enough sun loungers around the pool, a lot of people go there for spa packages, so hotel residents may not get to sit down. Also when we had our treatment there was a lot of loud door slamming, maybe some door closers would help here. All in all a lovely relaxing weekend in a great setting.
Our return to Pembrokeshire.
It was good to return to the area after an absence of 20 years and the location of the hotel was ideal for our sight-seeing trip.
The only disappointing aspect was our 3 nights experience in the hotel's restaurant:-
1. The menu did not change during our stay.
2. On one night the kitchen was understaffed.
3. Some of the waiting-on staff appeared not to have received appropriate training.
Great location with lovely rooms. Unfortunately the Manager doesn't seem to be doing much managing. Tried to book another 2 nights at reception, quoted a lot more than we had paid online, waited to see the Manager, but he never arrived! A shame because it really is a lovely place.
Not worth 700 for 4 nights
Really shouldn't come under the title of luxury and in my opinion is too expensive for the quality of our stay. Our room had a stale smoking smell despite being a non smoking room, same for the communal sitting room. The staff were helpful and polite I just don't think our stay was worth the money we paid. I didn't go away feeling that I had been in a luxourous place. Most of the spa staff were very young not convinced they had a lot of experience. The pool was dirty, the tiles at the bottom of the pool were black round the edges, didn't look like it had been clean for a while. Also the pool was quite cold most days. The food in the restaurant was nice but limited selection and kept running out of things, and when staying there for 4 night it became boring and uninspiring. There was one very pleasant and cheerful member of staff that served in reception and the restaurant all the rest were just mediocre.
If it was half the money and 3 stars I probably wouldn't be so disappointed.
Reasonable hotel. Bathroom a bit tired and in need of redecoration. Very welcoming and friendly staff, but a definite feeling that the hotel is understaffed, so attention to detail is lacking.
Reasonable restaurant but quite a limited menu, at least one dish of which was not available one night. Breakfast however was first rate being freshly cooked.
All in all a reasonable stay-would use this hotel again, but a few simple changes would improve it no end.
Good spa, ok room, terrible food.
Cream tea was served with squirty cream which had turned to liquid by the time it had arrived. I know there was clotted cream available, because they served it with my dessert.
The prices for dinner were high and the quality was very poor. My friend had a main course of duck for 24 and it was inedible. My starter choice wasn't available and I got served two very dry lumps of goats cheese with peas instead. The breakfast was the best meal of the stay.
The spa and gym would have received an excellent review if the steam room had been working. On the whole, the spa was very good.
The location of the hotel was nice and the room was adequate.
