Location & Local Attractions
Located in Pembrokeshire – voted the 2nd best coastline in the World by National Geographic!
Britain's only truly coastal national park with an abundance of habitats and wildlife, covering 258 miles of coastline, whether you decide to drive, cycle, walk or take the seasonal tourist bus route. Within the park itself you'll also find six national nature reserves including the world famous Skomer Marine Nature Reserve - one of only a handful of marine reserves in the UK.
Aside from the wildlife and breathtaking scenery, people have also lived here for centuries, existing in harmony with the rugged cliffs and coves - you're never too far from an ancient burial mound, castle, Celtic cross or Welsh legend such as The Mabinogion. The harbour port of Tenby, whose charter was first issued in 1206, is well worth a visit, as is St. David’s with its 13th century Cathedral where Wales’s own Dewi Sant (Saint David) founded a monastery on the site.

Lovely 3 day break
From the moment we arrived to the moment we sadly left we always felt very welcoming from each member of staff. We spoke to different members of staff each day to get a different some inside knowledge on best places to visit, best beaches to visit and at what times of the day would be best. A standard room was pleasant, well maintained and looked like it had just been decorated so nothing to complain about here.
An incentive to book this Hotel was the SPA and treatments on offer. We made full use of this facility in the morning before breakfast and late evening after a day of sightseeing.
On the last day after we checked out we even managed to get a game of tennis in.
Only moan we had and this possibly was because we stayed for 3 nights was the meal choice. We sort of struggled to pick out a favourite meal on the last night. The food is lovely and well presented. Recommend the Seabass meal.
Looking back at our stay at this hotel we would both love to come back as the break was very relaxing and rediscovered life without the kids....
Two days away to unwind
Good location and overall excellent. Staff training needed as quite contradictory things told to us. Example ok to book treatment in spa then when went to bed ok I old no closed due to training! Not the best.
Very tired and under staffed hotel but very good spa
Booked a twin room given a double bed at very top of the hotel, changed to another room on the ground floor also a double waited a hour before changed to a twin plus the window would not open
Service in the restaurant very poor ( under staffed) dined out all though pre paid for evening meals
No discount given for meals not taken service in the spa first class pity the hotel was so poor
The hotel is beautiful from the outside and the inside does not disappoint either. The breakfast is great but the evening meals leave a lot to be desired. Poor choice, especially the desserts, with only two desserts available on some nights. Sunday night had no choice of main course at all. Sunday roast or nothing. Afternoon tea was really good.
Few days away
Nice location and pleasant staff. How ever there was wedding and we asked if we could have something to eat and drink and was told we could not because of wedding and would have to back to Pembroke (never heard this before at hotel so this hotel needs to be avoid if wedding)
I had booked to rooms logic though would be together no one each floor told near each other a long walk
However on positive side staff pleasant nice location and grounds
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. We had dinner included up to 25 ppn but found the prices in the restaurant high and this meant that the sum was not enough for three courses. The menu was limited (especially desserts) and the food took ages to arrive. It was of an excellent standard though. Breakfast, likewise, took a long time and the buffet selection was very limited. The rooms were nice but the plumbing needs updating as the toilets had insufficient pressure to flush properly.
Overall, a very pleasant stay.
Definitely not a luxury experience- swimming pool almost as cold as the reception/service, whilst food had to be sent back twice.
