Lovely hotel for a relaxing break.Traditional, stylish and peaceful
Room was a little cold on arrival, though otherwise very comfortable

September Break
A very comfortable stay with superb food
A brilliant break
Our superior room was extremely comfortable, including a super kingsize bed, plus two armchairs, and had a real country house feel to it. The restaurant's d cor was more contemporary and the food, very gourmet, was delicious. The bar has a superb range of gins.
wonderful restful stay at Rothay manor
We had a lovely overnight stay with a very good evening meal. Our room was first rate with a super view over the garden and surrounding fells. Will come again.
Swimmers retreat
We used Rothay Manor as our base whilst doing an endurance swim in Lake Windermere.
Not only did we have a warm welcome, but so did our dog, with his own welcome pack and letter from the resident spaniel!
The food was fantastic and the staff friendly and approachable. We wouldn't hesitate in booking again.
