Wonderful Weekend

Anon, stayed: May 2024

I wanted a luxurious, relaxing and romantic weekend away and this is exactly what was provided. The staff were lovely, the room was amazing and the spa was the most relaxing experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

Amazing hotel but restaurant lacking

Richard, stayed: June 2024

Hotel and setting are great, albeit the spa area is a little tired and need of some TLC. The only really thing that detracted from our stay was the evening meal in the Brasserie. The ambience, drinks and wine selection are great, but the food was very poor. There was a wedding on at the same time so perhaps this is why, but when you are paying premium prices, you expect the standard to be maintained.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The building itself amazing and full of history and character. It's very tranquil and the grounds with the lake are fabulous and very well kept. Our initial room was tiny overlooking a dull roof and a bottle bank at the bottom so we asked to be be moved and the front staff were excellent and gave a lovely room overlooking the lake. The Spa staff were warm and friendly and very helpful and the facilities were clean, modern with a decent size pool. What let it down was the restaurant and bar, with young and poorly trained staff who were pleasant enough but really didn't have a clue. The first evening ,our meal was excellent but the second evening, it was like Faulty Towers !. Wrong food to the wrong people, including us, food arriving before the wine, had been poured, watching an argument whether a wine was off or not etc. -All this can be remedied with good training -Please sort this out and this hotel would be amazing and we would gladly return

Fantastic and relaxing

AF, stayed: July 2024

Rushton Hall is a fantastic spa hotel. The grounds are impressive, as is the architecture.
All of the staff were kind, friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The food was delicious and the communal spaces were lovely spaces to be in.
Would and have highly recommend it to others for a great mini break.
Came away feeling relaxed and wishing I was staying longer!

Great stay - fantastic experience.

Jon Will Chambers, stayed: July 2024

The staff at Rushton Hall are incredible, really welcoming and friendly. We had a really great time for our anniversary. Everything was perfect and the room was beautiful. The grounds, particularly the tennis court were fantastic. The only downside was there were more families in the spa pool than we had thought as specifically booked Rushton Hall as we didn't believe children would be in the spa.
