Too spread out.

Spa good. Everything else was not really 5 star. Restaurant food mediocre.

Should be amazing !!!

Anon, stayed: December 2018

How sad that this hotel is not amazing, because it should be, but we had many problems - like the bedroom being freezing cold when we arrived, VERY creased net curtains in bedroom and bathroom, summer duvets in winter !! so had to ask for blanket, as there was no blanket in room, water came out of shower very slowly and drippy !! The location is fabulous, the spa is fabulous, the food ok, but the attention to detail in the bedrooms is poor, and for that price it should not be. Walking back from the spa in the dark with no lights on, on a cold wet and windy evening is again very poor, I nearly tripped and fell. !!!! All this was of course told to the receptionist, but all we got was excuse after excuse, and no manager came out to apologise which would at least have helped.

A most uncomfortable hotel - each part reached through inter communicating rooms and corridors. In order to get to the restaurant and lounges on one day we had to pass through crowds of people attending a celebration. A most embarrassing and uncomfortable experience. Our room carpet was dirty when we arrived and subsequently cleaned and was very dark and gloomy. The staff were kind and most helpful even apologetic. This constituted the worst value for money experienced through your company and would not recommend it - rather the contrary.
