Facilities at Corse Lawn House Hotel

Corse Lawn Hotel has been owned by the Hine family since 1978. Since then it has been sympathetically extended to now offer 18 individual traditional large character bedrooms with private en-suite bathrooms.

The main part of the building is Queen Anne Grade II listed. Situated just off the village green, the large ornamental pond that you see in front of the house was originally built for coaches and horses to wash in, centuries ago.

With 12 acres of private gardens and fields, Corse Lawn has plenty of room to relax and unwind, and if you want to exercise, the indoor heated pool and outdoor tennis courts are available, exclusively to residents only.

Corse Lawn is a simple drive from either the M5 or M50 motorways, you can be in the heart of the Cotswolds, Malvern Hills or Forest of Dean in a little over 30 mins drive. This timeless hotel remains ever popular and respected with high levels of service.

All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing beds.
All children under 2 years are charged £10 per person per night for children's cots/cribs.
All older children or adults are charged £20 per person per night for extra beds.

Lovely Character Hotel

Hazel, Surrey, stayed: September 2019

This was a lovely hotel with character and ideally located for visiting the Cotswolds. It is slightly aged but this is part of its charm.
We just wanted a relaxing break with places to visit and this was fulfilled with many beautiful Cotswold towns, villages and National Trust places near by.
We booked a special short break, which included dinner on both nights. The meals were excellent and there is a good choice with an extensive wine list.
Our only criticism would be that the waiter poured by large amounts of the wine into the glass when we would have preferred to take our time enjoying such an expensive choice! Staff would benefit from having training on how to pour wines and perhaps have a range of glasses for the right wines. This may sound 'snobby' but it does make a difference! If you've ordered a good wine you want to savour it and make it last.
Our meal on our second night also felt a bit rushed with the main course being brought out almost immediately after our starter plates had been cleared.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would stay again.

Fabulous Independently Run Cotswolds Hotel

Tim, West Midlands, stayed: August 2019

This hotel is a real gem. It is in a fairly quiet area of the Cotswolds but with many larger towns such as Cheltenham very nearby.

It is not your usual chain hotel so you need to appreciate that it will be a little different to other places. It is family run and they are passionate about what they do. The food and wine lists are both excellent.

Just do not expect the typical corporate style and embrace the individuality of a very traditional hotel. There are so few of these left now, it is well worth appreciating this one.

JM, Staffordshire, stayed: August 2019

Wonderful stay! The room was fantastic, the service and staff was first class. Other reviews have said the decor is tired and dated, but I thought it was lovely and as an old country house should be. It was clean and friendly and the homemade biscuits in the room were great and very welcome!

Weekend Break

Excellent on all counts apart from the grumpy, unfriendly, rude Manager at reception who also served breakfast.

He made us feel unwelcome.

Another wonderful stay

NE, Dyfed, stayed: May 2019

We have stayed many times at this wonderful hotel. Relaxing atmosphere with helpful staff, superb food and many little extras in your room that are greatly appreciated (bath robes, mini fridge, loose leaf tea, homemade biscuits, bowl of fruit, sofa etc etc). We look forward to our next stay.
