Exquisite dining at Forss House Hotel

The restaurant at Forss House has a reputation as one of the finest in the North and is the only AA Two Rosette establishment in Caithness. 

From melt-in-the-mouth canapés to our one-of-a-kind tasting menus, all dishes are designed to showcase the very finest ingredients from the Thurso area. Using local produce from neighbouring estates and the nearby sea, the result is exquisite dishes to suit even the most discerning palate. 

Please note that all menus are samples and subject to change due to the seasonality of ingredients.

Dinner service:

18:00 – 20:00 (April - September) 
18:00 - 19:30 (Winter) 

Booking is essential (excluding breakfast). Dog-friendly dining is available – waggy-tailed friends are welcome to dine with you in the conservatory.

With grand windows overlooking the picturesque gardens, Forss House's quaint bar is the perfect destination to enjoy a lunchtime aperitif, a post-dinner nightcap and everything in between.

If the whisky tap didn't already give it away, the bar is also a wonderful one-stop-shop for a perfectly aged whisky. You'll find a selection of Scotland's finest whiskies as well personal favourites.The incredible team know a thing or two about a good tipple, so you're in safe hands!
