Welcoming and dog friendly

Mr and Mrs P, Somerset, stayed: October 2018

We were greeted by friendly staff on reception who told us about our room and facilities. Our two dogs were welcomed and allowed in the bar and conservatory. The room was very clean and well maintained although we were a bit worried about getting muddy paws on the carpet, as it was a wet weekend. Luckily we were able to wipe them off in the car first.
The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive and again made a fuss of the dogs. Nice to have a voucher to use in the coffee shop, a good place to take a break when shopping in the town.
We would definitely stay again and will tell our friends.
Thank you

Great ambience and location

Kevin H, Berkshire, stayed: October 2018

From the time you enter this hotel you are made to feel very welcome. From Fran on reception who is a real asset to this establishment, to the lady in the coffee shop, the bar, Spa and restaurant staff provide excellent friendly service. It s a very old hotel but very relaxed so you need to embrace the chilled ambience and enjoy Cotswold life. Thank you for looking after us so well .

Quaint hotel in a good position

Paul R, Herts, stayed: October 2018

Very nice hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful with not only hotel matters but also about local places to go/things to do.
Cafe very nice for coffee and cake (walnut cake awesome) - especially with the rate you can get that includes coffee and cake.
Room was big enough and a lovely bed.
Shower head could have been higher to save having to stay bent down (I'm only 6"1") in the shower.
Evening meal lovely, but breakfast a little disappointing - confusion with tea/coffee and quite a wait.
Overall - would come again.
Footnote: Very nice location and Chipping Campden such a nice place.
