Relaxing break

Very enjoyable overnight stay. Lovely hotel, well located. Comfortable rooms and very nice menu in the restaurant. Minor point - restaurant is a little expensive, but for a special occasion worth it.

Anniversary a weekend

Marina, Monmouthshire, stayed: October 2018

Charming hotel in prime location. The hotel mixes good country decor with old world charm. Each room named after a racehorse. We were on the Kauto Star room. Our room was attractively furnished and comfortable. The creepy floor boards are to be expected with such and old building but added to the quirky charm.
The Brasserie Restaurant was a real highlight with an excellent menu and attentive friendly staff. We ate on the Friday evening and we re extremely impressed. Lovely ambience and attractive surroundings.
The bar area was attractive and busy. Again lovely decor and surrounded by a minstrels gallery.
After an excellent breakfast on Saturday we read the papers in the lounge alongside the welcoming fire (topped up regularly by attentive staff).
If you're looking for a Cotswold weekend/retreat we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Romantic stay

Anon, stayed: March 2018

We paid 300 for a night here with dinner which I think was extortiante for the room. The location was lovely in the centre of Broadway and the room looked lovely at first glance. Unfortunately the toilet didn t flush and then continued to make a flushing sound for the next hour and the bath didn t drain. We obviously complained and the toilet was fixed. The bath was also drained. However then every time we had a shower the bath filled up again so the next one in the shower had to stand in the leftover dirty water. Not what you expect for this priced room. Obviously an ongoing problem that they are aware of. Breakfast the next day which we ordered to the room didn t come with half the food we requested, no tea spoons for the drinks, and no butter for the toast. Again not what we paid for as a one off treat. They did bring the remaining up when we complained but by then the remainder of the food was cold and to be honest it shouldn t happen!

Full of character and history in a gorgeous town centre

WM, Ayrshire, stayed: January 2018

The Broadway is a 4* hotel on the town green. The building has been extended on several occasions over the centuries and this makes for a quaintness. Our room was accessed through a doorway partially blocked by a wall, down 2 steps into the comfortable lounge with the bathroom off. The bedroom was another step down and also roomy. It could have been dark and dingy but there were windows in each room two of which opened on to the private garden. Our only complaint was the bed which was much too hard for us. We asked for a mattress topper but were given extra pillows which we used to lie on. The restaurant has recently been converted from an open courtyard and was lovely The food was very good, as was the service. Our 2 day break was in January but the room and hotel were kept at a comfortable temperature.

Highly recommend

MJ, Lincolnshire, stayed: September 2017

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Broadway Hotel and hope to go back very soon.  The staff are very helpful and friendly. The whole experience was perfect especially the food - we enjoyed every mouthful!
Sitting outside with the patio heaters alight having a drink was delightful.  Definitely recommend anyone to pay a visit.
