Perfect romantic escape on a wedding anniversary, what a treat!

I am so pleased to have stumbled upon this absolute gem of a place! This historic residence has been beautifully renovated without losing the feel of a family home. The gardens are idyllic and perfectly kept. Staff was friendly and helpful all round. The resident chef delivered a fantastic tasting menu - packed with flavour and sophistication in equal measure - and the pairing wines were also a pleasant discovery.
Our suite was luxurious and comfortable.
If I must find one tiny fault perhaps the housekeeping staff could be more attentive: there was no shower gel in our bathroom, but that's it, really.

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions as the staff and accommodation are so welcoming. All of the rooms are individual and special- fantastic spa baths in the suites if you fancy a real treat. The food is truly amazing and the service exceptional..
You really feel spoilt if you stay here.

A Golden Hotel

This relatively small but beautiful country house is an absolute gem set in idylic countryside yet a short journey into the local town or vibrant Harrogate. The food was first rate and the staff exceptional, attentive, efficient yet friendly. The room was celebration worthy so the two day break was memorable, thank-you to all the Goldsborough team

Magical

Stayed for one night . Offered a free upgrade which was an even more beautiful room that we had previously stayed in. Felt relaxing with staff very attentive and friendly . Evening taster meal was 1st class from start to finish. Breakfast amazing . Overall a beautiful relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommend .

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful overnight stay with the 7 course chef's taster and breakfast the next morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was gorgeous, with stunning views and the food was divine. It was a lovely stay and we want to thank the staff both in the house and the gardens (lovely gardener who told us about the grounds and gardens). It was everything we could wish for.
